US Flag Waving is 15 inches wide, 10 inches tall, and 1 1/2 inches thick. Woods were selected for color and symbolic significance: Bloodwood for red, Purpleheart for blue, Hard Maple for white, and Mexican Ebony (Katalox) for in-frame black matting (represents POWs).
